How Caliday Cares Is Making a Difference in Maryland Communities

At Caliday School Age Programs, our mission goes beyond providing quality, affordable before and after school care. We believe in teaching children the importance of compassion, leadership, and giving back to others. That’s why we created Caliday Cares, a community outreach initiative designed to highlight how our students, staff, and organization work together to make a positive impact in the neighborhoods we proudly serve.

What Is Caliday Cares?

Caliday Cares is more than just a program — it’s a movement within our organization that encourages kindness, service, and community involvement. Throughout the year, our staff and students take part in various service projects, charitable donations, and local events that benefit families, schools, and organizations throughout Maryland.

Just a few of the meaningful ways Caliday Cares has made a difference include:

• Donating funds to our partner elementary schools to support student programs and enrichment opportunities.

• Assembling and delivering food donations to local nurses and healthcare workers.

• Creating goodie bags for cancer patients to provide comfort and encouragement during treatment.

• Participating in charity events like the Red Shoe Shuffle, which supports critically ill children and their families.

Each act of kindness reminds us that even the smallest gestures can have a lasting impact on the lives of others.

As a trusted non-profit childcare organization in Maryland, we understand the value of strong community connections.
