Caliday Cares
At Caliday School Age Programs, we believe that learning and leadership extend beyond the classroom. Caliday Cares is our community outreach initiative, highlighting how our students, staff, and families give back to the neighborhoods we proudly serve across Maryland. Through acts of kindness and service, we strengthen the connection between our before and after school care programs and the communities that support them.
From donating funds to our elementary school partners, delivering food to healthcare workers, assembling goodie bags for cancer patients, to participating in local charity events like the Red Shoe Shuffle, Caliday Cares celebrates the compassion and leadership of our school-age children and staff. As a trusted non-profit childcare organization in Maryland, we’re committed to creating meaningful community partnerships and making a positive, lasting impact on the families and schools we serve. A Small Thank You to Nurses
Our Caliday Community at Emmorton team worked together to create and deliver special gift bags for nurses that contained snacks and energizing drinks to help them power through their day! This gesture is just a fraction of how much we appreciate what these heroes do and we can’t show our gratitude enough!
Gift Bags for Hospital Patients
Our Caliday Community at William S. James came together to create cards of encouragement and gift bags for patients receiving cancer treatment. This idea was brought to life by the Caliday Council, an initiative within our programs that empowers children to become leaders through the creation and implementation of impactful community giveback activities. This powerful gesture moved the hearts of all of us, and was even more touching as many parents showed their support by attending the delivery of the items!
Our school partnerships mean the world to us, as we couldn’t provide the best Caliday Experience without them! We provided each of our Elementary School partners with a $1,000 check, and each school used it for necessary repairs, equipment or supplies for the students! We were so honored to give back in such a meaningful way!

Red Shoe Shuffle
Our team has participated in The Red Shoe Shuffle for the second year in a row, and this time around, our participation inspired our Caliday families! The Caliday Community at Honeygo even finished the race together!
